Welcome to Tutorly. By creating an account or booking a lesson, you agree to these terms.
1. Accounts
You must give your real name (at least 5 characters) and a valid email address. Keep your password safe. Each person uses one account; students register themselves, and teacher accounts are created only by invitation from the administrator.
2. Lessons and booking
Lessons are booked through the chat by naming a day, time and, optionally, a teacher. A booking is confirmed only when you press Confirm and the shown date, time and teacher are correct. If you do not name a teacher, Tutorly assigns one and tells you who it is.
3. Paid lessons
Lessons draw on your paid lesson balance, shown in the chat. Each confirmed booking consumes one lesson from the balance. Balances are managed by the administrator; there is no automatic monthly reset.
4. Calendar invitations
With your permission, a confirmed lesson is added to your Google Calendar and an invitation is emailed to you. Teacher calendars are updated the same way. Calendar connections can be removed at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Do not book lessons under another person's name, attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that misuse Tutorly.
6. Availability and changes
Teachers choose their own available times; times not marked as available cannot be booked. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it.
