Tutorly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Tutorly collects and how it is used.

1. What we collect

Your name, email address, password (stored only in encrypted form by our sign-in provider), your paid lesson balance, your bookings (date, time, teacher) and any messages you type or dictate in the booking chat.

2. Calendar access

Only with your explicit permission do we connect to your Google Calendar to add confirmed lessons and email you an invitation. We store the calendar connection securely and use it solely for your lessons. You can disconnect it at any time, and we never read unrelated calendar events.

3. How we use your data

To create and confirm your bookings, show your remaining lessons, add lessons to calendars you connected, and send you lesson invitations and account emails (confirmation, password reset). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Voice messages

If you record a voice message, the recording is transcribed into text to fill your booking message. Recordings are used only for that transcription and are not shared with teachers.

5. Who can see your data

You can see your own bookings and balance. Your teacher sees the lessons assigned to them. The administrator manages accounts, balances and invitations. Access is enforced by permissions, not trust.

6. Your rights

You may ask the administrator to export or delete your data. Deleting your account removes your profile; past bookings the teacher relies on may be kept in a minimal form.

7. Cookies and staying signed in

We store a temporary sign-in pass in your browser so you stay logged in — never your password. Your browser may also offer to save the password in its own password manager, which is optional and under your control.

8. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to the administrator at polinanizhynska@gmail.com.
